Thank you for your interest in the CGDM. Please note that we are no longer accepting applications for the 2025–2026 season!
However, if you’d like to plan ahead, you can register now for the 2026–2027 season by clicking the button below. We’ll contact you before the next season begins.
Please complete the registration form, and we’ll get in touch with you as soon as possible to schedule an audition. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
Operation
- Rehearsals:Â Monday nights, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM + 1 Sunday per month, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Where: 1710, Beaudry Street, Montreal (near Beaudry metro station – free parking)
- Choristers are divided into 4 sections: First Tenors, Second Tenors, Baritones, Basses
- Music Reading: Not required
- Admission audition to assess vocal accuracy, range, and rhythm
- Registration Fees:Â 200$ per session (September, January), 25$ yearly fee
- One music camp per year (additional cost of approximately 200$)
- 1 to 2 major concerts per year
- Other occasional promotional performances
- Sheet music and rehearsal tools available online
- Memorization required for each song – no sheet music used during concerts
- Stage movements and choreography integrated into performances
- Popular and varied repertoire, mostly in French and English
